"You Need To Enjoy Being Dangerous Kas!"

Once Upon A Time….  and because it's important to Honour Our Stories

I believed I was "dangerous" to those who worked with me.

This Limiting Belief kept me diluted down and small… I cautiously tiptoed around people politely, fawning all over the place...

I was given this Limiting Belief from MANY - boyfriends, family, friends, managers... They all told me repeatedly:  "You're TOO MUCH Kas" no matter what I did in my life, I was way Too Much...  too loving, too passionate, too speedy, too sexy, too wild, too strong, too capable, too potent, too funny...   

AND YET...  when the shit hit the fan... it was ME that they wanted.  Me... Kas.  Why???  

Because I was capable, potent and could solve anybody's crisis for them in an emergency.  I could cut through the crap and they immediately felt better... I always came up with the goods and as soon as they got what they wanted, they would disappear from my life again (Until their next crisis!).

They all knew I had BIG Dreams and desires to have a business and succeed.  They all knew I wanted to run my painting days in a big commercial space in London on the South Bank.  I wanted to reach as many people as I could - online - to help them via my online courses.  

One to one was too slow... it didn't help enough people... life is too short to help them all one by one.

So they kept me small, told me I was getting too big for my boots when I shared my big dreams with them (and they panicked... if Kas leaves and does all that, what will I do in my next emergency???  and she gives me it FREE, I'd have to PAY a stranger to help me!!  Kas makes me feel safe and special and wonderful... I can't talk to a stranger!!!)  So they told me my dreams were ridiculous and way too much and kept me close in case they lost their 'Go To' person when in need.

Sadly we can't fix ourselves... it is so tricky to see our own 'Games' - and so - in response, I toned myself down - I played small - I tentatively tried to put a few courses out but when I shared with these people what I was doing they ridiculed my ideas and said "Nobody will buy that!!!" and I believed them.  Instantly.  Which of course was simply a replay of what had happened in my childhood where I'd also been told I was TOO MUCH and at the same time: Not Good Enough!

My mistake?  Sharing ANY-Fcking-Thing with any of these people, and willingly showing up in their desperate hour of need... They text and rang repeatedly, they had so many crises in their lives, they wanted me to help sort out their mother, their partner, their children, their employer... and I always did... I Rescued them again and again... in lots of ways... 

These ways were set up in my childhood... I just couldn't see it.  We can't see our own issues or how to resolve them, we tend to need 'another' to help us do this - and frankly, I'm an expert at this given my own childhood issues.

I had ALWAYS paid fully for my own therapy and all my Training was self funded...  They (the above) would get their training funded through their employer and got loads of free 'therapy' from me.

I could never get any clients... YET!!!  I had all these people using me for FREE.  Any mention of money to them and they instantly pleaded poverty and yet lived wonderful lives: holidays, socialising etc. 

I couldn't see the Game.  I had been conditioned into this Game from my earliest childhood years.  (The games you get caught up in will be the same by the way.  I can help you with all of this if you're looking for one to one Therapy or Coaching).

FINALLY... I'D HAD ENOUGH!  THE WORM HAD TURNED

I hired a Business Consultant and told them all about my BIG Dreams and that I wanted to help lots of people around the world.  

I explained how burnt out I was helping all those (above mentioned) and how they convinced me I was TOO MUCH and way too dangerous to be set free on the world... and I should be grateful that THEY wanted to spend time with me (on their terms) ...and at the same time they also told me I was NOT GOOD ENOUGH. 

The Consultant butted right in...

"Kas!  You NEED to embrace that your job is to help people f*ck up their lives!!!  You help people Transform.  If they don't want that... then don't work with you! That's the deal. If they want to stay the same, there are a million other Coaches they can work with…

You ARE dangerous for people's lives Kas because they cannot stay the same when they come into your orbit.

You're dangerous for lives that are f*cked up, abusive and keep people trapped. They can't help but be drawn out of their f*cked up lives by you.

You need to enjoy being dangerous Kas!!"

In that moment I felt SO happy and I cried... Why???  Because their words were my Truth.

SO... I now work to my fullest potential and capacity - unapologetically - which isn't in the least bit dangerous.  It's simply what I do!  I'm potent. I won't do you a disservice by nodding in agreement and colluding with you.  If I see where things could go better, I will share that with you immediately.

I Will invite you into your Power

And I do it with Love, tenderness, humour, expertise and wisdom.  

The vital thing is: I DO It!

And you know… it really doesn't matter what you paint or what you talk about with me… we will still get to the SAME underlying issues that dilute you down.  I am very speedy and sensitive to notice these things that impact your life... and I will gladly share all this with you.
