Do I need experience?

No previous experience of mixed media collage or this process is needed.

I guide you through it step by step, gently, warmly, kindly and I am always available in my group IF you would like to join.

It is free. I am present and responsive.

Do I have to make trees?

No. I use trees and quirky birds in my own work and teaching, but you can choose whatever theme you love.

Rainbows, unicorns, mermaids, birds, flowers or something completely different.

I also include a downloadable for you to print of and cut out to use either templates or attach to your piece.

Will my collage look like yours?

It will have its own character.

You’ll learn my process, but your colours, images, arrangement and details will make the finished piece your own.

Can I watch the lessons more than once?

Sturdy paper suitable for wet and dry art materials

A board or canvas

Oil Pastels, acrylic paints, something scratchy like a sturdy needle (optional)

PVA School Glue or gel medium

Glitters!

Wool, sari wool, threads...

buttons, metal symbols, washy tape

Anything that grabs your attention!
