You Can Still Long For More

You may have a good life.  A great life...  People say it all the time — how lucky they are.

You feel grateful.  You've worked hard.  You raised your children, might still be in the midst of this journey... it's hard!

You've been the calm in the storm, the rock, the soft place to land for everyone around you...

You've got the home, the job, the partner, the photos on the fridge, the holidays booked.

But somewhere underneath all of that…

There's a quiet ache.  Not a scream — not even a sob...

Just a steady murmur that doesn't go away.

It whispers to you when the room goes quiet...

It comes to you in your dreams, or in the bath, or when you catch your reflection and you think: I used to be… something else.  Someone different to how I am now.  I had hopes and dreams...  (and then whisper inside your mind so only you can hear: I didn't realise life would be quite as it turned out... you may notice a little flat feeling deep inside you...)

It's not that you want to burn your life down... You just want to feel something more.

More you.
More breath.
More presence.
More colour.
More truth.

But you feel guilty even thinking that.
Because you love your family.
Because you worked hard to get here.
Because you were taught that longing meant ungratefulness — and ungratefulness meant shame.

So you keep it quiet.
But I need you to know:
You're allowed to long for more.
You're allowed to be both thankful and hungry.
You can love your life and still crave to feel your feet on the earth, your hips in rhythm, your voice rising up from your belly.

That ache in you?
It's not selfish.
It's sacred.
It's the sound of your soul remembering something ancient.

Something you laid down long ago when the world told you what a "good woman should be".

My content is full of creativity.  There are videos to watch and listen to and learn and grow from...  there are creative therapy projects which will teach you lots and develop your self awareness but also give you a wonderful creative, arty project to get in to... and these are for complete beginners.

The less you know the better it works!  And if you know everything about art, creativity, creative therapy, counselling, coaching... I will invite you to break all the rules and really push yourself to be fully YOU in the work.

Come on!!!!  Every day, becomes a week, becomes a month, becomes a year, becomes a decade and you might still be reading blogs and NOT becoming who YOU were born to be... it is all there inside of you - it just needs to be loved out of you!!!  Come On!
