Ways Women Work With Me
Over the years, women have often asked me, "Where should I begin?"
The honest answer is...there isn't one 'right' doorway.
Women arrive in different ways.
Some know they want counselling.
Some are longing for a more creative way of exploring themselves.
Some quietly read my words for months before ever saying hello.
Some discover me through a painting.
Some are simply sent by another woman who says, "I think you'll like Kas."
There is no right way to arrive. Only your way.
After a lifetime of observing women, and nearly thirty years of accompanying them professionally,
something is clear:
The doorway matters much less than the relationship.
Whether we are talking... Creating... Laughing... Wondering... Reflecting...
Or sitting quietly together... The work is always the same.
Helping women become more fully themselves.
Not by becoming somebody different, but by gradually becoming who they have always been.
The woman you were when you arrived on earth.
If you're wondering where to begin...
Perhaps this will help.
Some women begin with counselling.
Sometimes a woman simply wants somewhere she no longer has to hold everything together.
Somewhere to think out loud.
To breathe. To untangle. To notice.
To become curious about her own life.
Not because I believe I have the answers,
but because I have spent many years
watching what becomes possible
when a woman no longer has to carry everything alone.
Together... we simply begin wherever she is.
Some women begin with a painting day. These are not 'art lessons'. I don't teach women how to paint. In fact, many arrive telling me they haven't picked up a paintbrush since school.
This is wonderful news because the less you know about 'art' the better this process flows.
Throughout the day, I accompany them. Sometimes we talk, or I offer gentle prompts.
Painting simply becomes another language.
A way of listening. A way of noticing.
A way of allowing thoughts, feelings, memories and possibilities... to emerge without forcing them.
What moves me every single time is watching a woman gradually begin trusting herself.
Her own instincts. Her own body. Her own story.
She doesn't leave having learnt how to paint.
She leaves having spent an entire day being deeply accompanied while discovering more of herself.
Some women continue that journey online through my online courses.
I don't teach women to recreate my art. I share the process I use myself. I model what it looks like to accompany myself with honesty and compassion. Women then create in their own homes. At their own pace. They follow my videos and their own intuition. Their own stories. Their own symbols. Their own becoming.
Then if they wish, they bring whatever has emerged into our online group, where we continue the conversation together.
Not to be judged, not to be interpreted, but to be witnessed. Accompanied. Encouraged.
However a woman chooses to begin... My philosophy remains the same.
I don't believe women need fixing. I don't believe I know who they should become. I believe they arrived in this world exactly as they were meant to be and I simply accompany them back to their fullest Self.
I believe women make sense.
I believe their adaptations made sense.
I believe curiosity changes more than criticism.
I have spent a lifetime watching what becomes possible when a woman experiences a relationship where she doesn't have to perform, impress, explain or earn the right to be heard.
Whether we meet face to face in person, or on Zoom... Through a painting day... or through one of my online courses... it's all the same invitation.
To become more fully yourself.
And perhaps... if you've read this far...
You've already begun.
