Where Did You Come From… Really? (Not Just the Story You Tell)

Where Did You Come From…

Really?

(It's Not Just the Story You Tell)

Most of us think we know where we came from.

We can tell the story.

Who our mother was.

What happened.

The version we've repeated over the years.

But that's not what I mean. I mean:

What was the emotional atmosphere you arrived into?

What was already happening in your mother's body…
her life…
her nervous system…
her relationships…

as you were developing?

What was there before you had words?

Because we don't just arrive into a family.

We arrive into a field.

And that field shapes us in ways we often can't see.

It shows up in:

how we respond
how we attach
what we expect
what we long for
what we avoid

It lives in the body as much as the mind.

Over the years, I've sat with many women as they begin to turn towards this.

Not to blame.
Not to analyse everything to death.

But to begin to see.

To notice:

"Oh… this didn't start with me.
I've been carrying something that was already here."

Sometimes there's grief in that.
Sometimes relief.
Sometimes confusion.

Sometimes just a quiet kind of knowing…
that doesn't need explaining.

And often, something else begins to happen too.

A softening.
A little more space.

A different way of holding what's been carried for so long.

This isn't something that happens through thinking alone.

It needs time.
Gentleness.
A willingness to stay.

And often… a different kind of approach.

This is why my work has always included creative process.

Because there are things we know that we can't always say directly.

Things that come through:

image
texture
symbol
movement
feeling
sensing

When women begin to work in this way, something shifts. Not because they're trying to fix themselves. But because something is finally being seen that hasn't been seen before.

This is the space I'm opening in:

WOMB: Where I Came From

A place to explore your beginnings
not just as a story,
but as a lived experience that is still echoing now.

This isn't fast work.

It's not always comfortable.

But it is often deeply meaningful.

If you feel something as you read this —
even if you can't quite name it… that's usually where we begin.

We start on 9th May 2026.

You'll have a spacious 12 weeks to move through the process inside an online group.

There are no live sessions.
You don't have to show up on a specific day or time.

You move at your own pace, in your own way, any time across the 12 weeks.

You'll also have access to all materials for a full year - so if life happens, you're not left behind.

I'm a creative therapist, coach and artist with 27 years' experience.
I've trained counsellors to use creative therapies in their clinical practice.

Inside this space, you won't be ignored.

If you tag me, ask questions, or share your work — I will respond.

Warmly. Thoughtfully. With you.

There's no pressure to participate. But if you reach, I'll meet you.

You can sign up any time up until 9th May.  All course material will be available from that date.

For less than £9 a week, you're stepping into a deeply experiential, therapeutic process.

The current price is £99
(This will NOT be offered again. The full value is £595.)

If you feel the pull, you can read more and sign up here:
